Coach Atkinson is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park. His 20 plus year coaching repertoire includes McDonogh School, Skywalkers Lacrosse program, Towson University Club and Parkville Rec.
A native of Toronto, ON Mike Lynch has coached at all levels, from youth to NCAA, for over 18 years . His experience spans boys and girls lacrosse both indoor in Canada and on the field. He formerly coached at Lake Brantley High School in Florida and at Hampden-Sydney College in VA, his alma mater, where he competed in the NCAA tournament. He was also an assistant Captain and leading scorer for the Irish National Team at the 2007 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. Currently, Mike serves as the 2013 Kelly Post Midget "A" and Sky Walkers 2017 Blue coach. A father of two lacrosse players and a husband to an avid runner, his favorite meal is Ossobuco.
Molly is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned four Varsity letters. She currently serves as the director of Sky Walkers Lacrosse Program and is the 2015 Blue coach. In 2012 her Blue team won the US Lacrosse U-15 National Championship.
In 1997 Michael realized there would be an explosion of the Division 1 level of women's lacrosse, so he founded the Sky Walkers Lacrosse Program. His philosophy is that teaching girls to play with no limitations would allow them to achieve a level of freedom which would enable them to be recruited to play at the collegiate level. The first graduating Sky Walkers class was in 2000, which saw all of it's seniors play at the NCAA Division 1 level. Michael's two daughters, Megan and Molly, who is a Sky Walkers class of 2000, played at Duke University and The Ohio State University respectively.
